The Military Court of the Second Western District sentenced the four perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall to life imprisonment, Interfax reported.
Dallirjon Mirzoev, Sidkarami Rashabalizoda, Shamsuddin Faridouni and Muhammadsubiru Faizov were sentenced to life imprisonment. The defendants in the case were convicted of committing a terrorist attack, facilitating terrorist activities, undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities and other crimes.
The court also imposed fines on them amounting to 990 thousand rubles each. They will serve their sentence in the regime’s special colony.
In addition, the court sentenced 11 other defendants in the terrorist attack case to life imprisonment, whom the investigation considers to be accomplices to the perpetrators of the attack, RIA Novosti reported. These are Omidjon, Mustakim Suliyev, Shakhromjon Jadoev, Zabydullo Ismoilov, Hussein Khamidov, Muhammed Sharibzoda, Yakubjony Yusufzoda, Nzrimad Lutvoloy, Dzhumakhon Korbunov, Khusin Medov, and Dzhabrail Aushev.
Four other defendants were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 19 years, 11 months, and 22.5 years.
The terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22, 2024. Terrorists broke into the complex at the time when a concert by the Picnic group was supposed to take place. They shot spectators and Crocus employees, then set fire to the concert hall. As a result, 150 people died.
In addition to the four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack, 15 of their alleged accomplices participated in the case.
The Khorasan Province group, the wing of ISIS in Afghanistan, claimed responsibility for the attack. Vladimir Putin claimed that terrorists acted on behalf of Ukraine.
