7 sea line offers to Istanbul were accepted!

At the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting, it was unanimously decided to establish 7 new sea lines in Istanbul.

7 NEW LINE PROPOSALS ACCEPTED

In the agenda item regarding maritime passenger transportation line offers, 7 new lines were offered. The proposal was accepted unanimously.

The proposed sea routes are as follows: Kadıköy-Kasımpaşa-Fener-Sütlüce-Eyüp, Avcılar-Bakırköy-Kadıköy, Avcılar-Bostancı, Maltepe-Büyükada-Heybeliada-Burgazada-Kınalıada, Çengelköy-Kabataş, Beşiktaş-Kabataş-Karaköy-Kasımpaşa-Sütlüce- Eyüp, Bostancı-Caddebostan-Moda-Kadıköy-Kabataş.

At the meeting, the proposal to determine the fare tariffs for Istanbul Transportation Inc. Sabiha Gökçen Airport lines was rejected by a majority of votes. The offered price list is as follows: Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Atatürk Airport (Ekspress) – 68,00 TL Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Atatürk Airport (E5) – 68,00 TL Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Kadıköy (E-5) – 39.00 TL Taksim – Sabiha Gökçen Airport (E5) – 53.00 TL Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Atatürk Airport (TEM) – 73.00 TL Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Kavacık (TEM) – 39.00 TL. IETT’s Istanbul Airport luxury transit bus schedule offer was also discussed. The offer for the bus fares to be 57 lira was rejected.

At the meeting, the proposal to determine the touristic Istanbulkart subscription limits was also discussed. The proposal was accepted unanimously.

“WE WANT TO TAKE 50 THOUSAND PASSENGERS FROM LAND”

Making statements to Habertürk TV, İBB Transportation Department Head Utku Cihan said that the lines to be opened will work quickly and said:

“Now, we want to take 50 thousand passengers from land to sea transportation every day. In this respect, we have planned new lines to increase the share of sea transportation in Istanbul. We are also producing new ships in our shipyards. We will be implementing these 7 lines for greater use of the sea. These lines are especially Avcılar. “We will create a route between Eyüp and Kadıköy on the Golden Horn line. We will integrate this line not only for Avcılar, but also with buses from Esenyurt and Beylikdüzü. Also, these lines will be fast lines.”
