The order states that the FSO must compensate for losses caused by restricting the rights of people living in the protected area.
Bocharov Ruchi has served as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation since 1991. During his first two terms in office, Vladimir Putin repeatedly hosted foreign leaders in Bocharov Ruchi. In the same building, since 2014, Putin has held regular meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. But since 2022, these meetings have stopped. The project reported that at the beginning of 2024, the main building of the Bocharov Ruchi residence was demolished.
Putin has two other official residences – in Novo Ogarevo in the Moscow region and in Valdai.
