The 98th Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 15 in Los Angeles.
The Best Picture award went to “Battle by Battle” directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Paul Thomas Anderson won two Oscars for Battle After Battle, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Ryan Coogler (“Sinners”) won Best Original Screenplay.
Sean Penn won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the movie Battle After Battle. The film also received an Academy Award for Best Acting, a new nomination.
Amy Madigan won a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Guns.
The Academy Award for Best Actor went to Michael B. Goodan for his role in The Sinners. The Best Actress award went to Jessie Buckley for her role in Hamnet.
“K-Pop Demon Hunter” won two Oscars – for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Song (“Gold”).
The Oscar in the Best Documentary category went to “Mr. Nobody vs. Putin,” a film directed by American director David Borenstein and videographer from the city of Karabash in the Ural region, Pavel Talankin.
