As part of the implementation of the capital repair program of the housing stock in Moscow, elevator equipment in residential buildings is being replaced. According to DC standards, after a period of 25 years, the elevators must be replaced. Thus, work on replacing all passenger elevators in a residential building in the Nagatino-Sadovniki district was completed.
We are talking about a building located at the address: emb. Nagatinskaya, 22. Modern elevators of the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant were installed on the site. The characteristics of the new passenger elevators are as follows: speed is 1 m/s and load capacity is 400 kg.
The residential building has six entrances, each with one passenger elevator. Craftsmen have modernized all six lifts as part of a comprehensive overhaul programme. The object is a nine-storey multi-apartment residential building, built in 1968 according to a modified standard series project. The building has a simple plan. The facades are characterized by simple flexibility and do not contain decorative elements.
The new elevators are equipped with an infrared curtain, whose sensors prevent the doors from closing in the event of an obstacle in the entrance. The cabins stop clear of the ground, avoiding falls and injuries. The walls of the cabins are painted with special anti-vandal paint. If the elevator car stops suddenly, the emergency lighting is turned on, and the passenger can always call the dispatcher. The floor-numbered buttons are large, backlit, and written in Braille. All elevators have a TFT screen, mirror and handrails on the back or side wall.
