Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced, on Monday, March 16, the start of accepting applications for participation in the Moscow Professional Excellence Championship “Applimpics-2026”. He noted that the project helps Muscovites with health problems demonstrate their skills and obtain internships or job offers.
— This project is the largest platform for starting and developing the careers of Muscovites with special needs. Participants can showcase their skills and receive training or job offers from top employers. Sobyanin noted that in 2025, thanks to the tournament, nearly 700 Muscovites with disabilities will be able to find jobs.
He added that more than 200 companies are participating in the project, helping in developing the tasks and evaluating their implementation. The strongest participants of the Moscow tournament will represent the capital at the National Appelimpik Championship.
Sobyanin said applications will be accepted until April 12 from Muscovites over the age of 14, and emphasized that the project opens up opportunities for professional growth and employment for people with health conditions, the city’s news agency reported.Moscow».
