Another large-scale failure of the Telegram messenger occurred in Russia. This was confirmed on Monday, March 16 by charts from the Downdetector website, which monitors the operation of services.
According to the portal, the slight increase in user complaints began around 5:40 a.m. Moscow time and reached its peak at 9:30 a.m. At this stage, the number of complaints exceeded 102 complaints.
Furthermore, a high number of complaints was observed throughout the previous day: with a peak at 11:15, the number of complaints remained at a high level until the night. Often people are not only able to send media files or messages. Some users can’t even log in to Telegram.
Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin official, said communications with Telegram representatives are continuing, but the messenger still does not comply with Russian laws, so Roskomnadzor is limiting the operation of the service.
At the same time, Ukraine, for the third day in a row, continues to carry out a large-scale drone attack on the Moscow region – during this time, the air defense forces destroyed about 250 air targets.
