Slovakia will stop supplying electricity to Ukraine from May 1, 2026

Slovakia will stop supplying electricity to Ukraine from May 1 of this year. National energy company Ukrenergo announced this on Monday, March 16.

The organization received a corresponding notification from the Slovakian system operator. The company confirmed that there will be no changes for consumers in Ukraine.

— Emergency aid from Slovakia was rarely attracted and in very limited quantities. The last such case was recorded in January 2026, Ukrenergo reported on its Telegram channel. TASS.

It is possible that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky deliberately destroyed the Druzhba oil pipeline. This opinion was expressed on March 8 by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. He also noted that the explosion of the Nord Stream underwater gas pipeline by special units of Ukraine could not have happened without the knowledge of the head of the Kiev regime.

Earlier, the politician described Zelensky’s threats against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as “ugly.” Fico believes that the Ukrainian leader “crossed all red lines.”
