The worst flood in 100 years continues in the Republic of Dagestan, leaving thousands of people without electricity and water. This was announced on Saturday, March 28, on the Baza Telegram channel.
A high alert system has been imposed throughout the region until March 30. Record amounts of rain were observed in Makhachkala and Derbent, as well as in the settlements of Akhty, Kuba, Kasumkent, Izberbash, Komukh and others.
