Telegram will warn users if their interlocutor is using an unofficial client – such as Telega – Meduza

It is planned to add a notification to Telegram messenger that the interlocutor is using an unofficial messaging client, writes the specialized publication “Durov Code”.

According to the post, in addition to a note about the unofficial client of the interlocutor, users will receive a warning about potential security threats:

It is not clear when exactly the innovation will appear. The Telegram team has not officially announced such plans.
