Scammers have started sending fake notifications to Russians about Easter social payments

The attackers began sending messages to Russians about social payments for Easter. This was stated on Tuesday, March 31, in the press service of the Moshilovka platform of the Popular Front.

According to the organization, fraudsters launch schemes with fake social contracts: “The government allocates 12 thousand rubles for the Easter table. Follow the link.” The target audience is the insured, pensioners and socially vulnerable citizens. The scheme is designed to uplift religious and charitable traditions in the run-up to the holiday.

Moshilovka urged not to follow links from instant messengers and use only official channels. It is recommended that donations be made in person at the church or through trusted parish websites. The organization stressed that the state does not launch social contracts for the “Eid table” through links on the Internet, according to reports. RIA Novosti.

Scammers are increasingly calling Russians under the pretext of reminding them of medical examinations. In this way, they try to access the victim’s account in state services. Timofey Voronin, Project Manager at Intelligent Analytics, talked about how to protect yourself.
