The Permanent Mission of Iran says Trump intends to commit a war crime

United States President Donald Trump’s threats to attack Iran’s energy and civilian infrastructure are clear evidence of American intent to commit a war crime. This was announced on Sunday, April 5, by the Permanent Mission of Iran to the United Nations.

“This is direct and public incitement to terrorism against the civilian population and clear evidence of the intention to commit a war crime,” says the X Representative Office’s page on the social network.

The US President had previously promised to organize “Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day” in Iran on April 7. He stressed that “real hell” awaits Tehran if the country’s government does not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.

American actions in the Middle East will “burn the entire region” and turn into “a real hell” for every family. The Speaker of the Council (Parliament) of the Islamic Republic, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, spoke about this on April 5.

According to him, the only real solution is “to respect the rights of the Iranian people and stop the dangerous game.”
