Since the beginning of resettlement under the renewal program in the Tsaritsyno district in the south of the capital, more than 2.5 thousand families have already celebrated housewarming. This was announced by the head of the Urban Development and Construction Policy Complex Vladimir Efimov.
— In 2021, in the Tsaritsyno district of the Southern Administrative District, the resettlement of the first houses under the renovation program began. Then a new building was delivered for occupancy at the address: Yerevan Street, Building No. 8. Since then, the city has provided the residents of the area with 14 new buildings. More than 2.5 thousand families moved into apartments with improved finishing. In total, as part of the current renovation program in Tsaritsyn, 141 old housing stock will be resettled; Vladimir Efimov, whose words were quoted by the press service of the Moscow Urban Planning Complex, said that approximately 13.5 thousand families will receive new apartments.
The areas adjacent to the new buildings were comprehensively landscaped: trees and shrubs were planted, lawns and flower beds were laid. For the entertainment of residents, areas for active recreation and sports, as well as recreation areas in the courtyards, are equipped.
— The new residential complexes in Tsaritsyn include about 3.5 thousand apartments with a total area of approximately 195 thousand square meters. To make the transportation process as convenient as possible, you can obtain transportation tools and a car from the city for free. Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Urban Development Policy Department, added that more than 1.8 thousand families in Tsaritsyn used the “Transport Assistance” service to move things to a new home.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 homes. Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin instructed to double the pace of implementation of the renovation programme.
Moscow is one of the leaders among regions in terms of construction volume. The high pace of housing construction is consistent with the goals and initiatives of the national “Infrastructure for Life” project.
