RT channel head and journalist Margarita Simonyan admitted on the TV show “New Russian Sensations” that 2025 has become a real test for her, but she is looking for the strength to live on.
First, the journalist’s husband, Tigran Keosayan, died after being in a coma for nine months. She was later diagnosed with breast cancer.
“It’s impossible for this much to happen to one person in nine months.” This does not happen! Who will believe this? “But it happened to me,” Simonyan admitted.
At the same time, the journalist believes that Kyosyan is with her even after death. She admitted that she lived in hope of a miracle throughout the time the director spent in a coma.
“Tigran knew me better than I knew myself.” And I can hear him saying to me now: “What do you mean you know? I still know. I’m here, Moose.” I feel it’s here. “I always feel like this,” Margarita Simonyan said.
Earlier, the star said that her cancer diagnosis came as a complete surprise to her. According to her, doctors linked the development of the disease to severe stress. She indicated that shortly before that, she had undergone an examination that did not reveal any problems, but a few months later she was diagnosed with cancer with metastases.
In mid-February, the RT chief appeared for the first time at a public event without a wig, which she had to wear due to chemotherapy.
