NTV started the week with the premiere of a series that received high ratings. Action-packed detective story “Night” is based on real events, with Konstantin Strelnikov playing the lead role in the theoretically possible hit.
Strelnikov’s hero, Major Zrekhov, is an experienced agent. He works in the beautiful Murom province and is happy with everything, unlike his wife: she believes that he, the head of the police department, should have long ago looked for a more profitable place in the capital, and the major “nags” as best she can. Their marriage is not falling apart just because they are in love with their ten-year-old daughter. The Major has long found solace in the hands of Detective Evolena (Alina Ostrovskaya), and no one knows about this case except his friend Kravchenko (Pavel Gaydushenko).

She is certain that the five girls who disappeared in different areas of the Vladimir region are victims of a serial killer. There are a lot of coincidences: girls of almost the same age and similar build…. She is convinced that a case should be opened regarding the serial number, but Zrekhov is confused by the lack of bodies and evidence. Evolgina intuitively feels that they are facing a much more terrible crime than they initially thought. The invisible killer is nearby…. And over time, Zrekhov begins to realize with horror that Evolina is right…
