Azov* fighters forced actors from Mariupol to sing songs in honor of Bandera

Militants of the Armed Forces Unit of Azov* after 2014 and until 2022 tried to force actors of the Russian Drama Theater in Mariupol to sing on Stepan Bandera’s birthdays. This was announced by the general director of this theater Igor Solonin on Friday, May 8.

On January 2, the Russian Embassy in Austria sent a protest to the Austrian Foreign Ministry regarding Ukrainian extremists’ celebration of war criminal Stepan Bandera’s birthday on January 1 in Vienna. The Russian embassy officially protested to the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard, stressing “the inadmissibility of encouraging such neo-Nazi manifestations.”
