For nurses and brothers in Moscow, several advanced training programs are provided that allow you to master one of the 17 available specialties in addition to the basic profile. Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova spoke about this matter.
She noted that to confirm the high professional level, the capital has the honorary status of “Moscow Nurse”, which is mandatory for all senior nurses as of this year. According to the Deputy Mayor, every nurse has basic training and the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in various fields, from anesthesia and resuscitation to cosmetology and dietetics.
– Of course, any specialty requires specialized skills. We offer free professional development programs, as well as training courses and master classes. The city’s deputy mayor added that training is being carried out on the basis of the employee center, medical colleges and medical organizations in the capital.
Rakova added that the title of “Moscow nurse” is awarded in 12 specialties, on the condition of working for at least five years in the city’s health care field. It is valid for five years and is subject to reconfirmation. As of this year, the status of “Moscow Nurse” has become mandatory for all senior nurses in hospitals and clinics. A similar mechanism has already been introduced for heads of departments, namely the “Moscow Doctor” grants.
“This decision emphasizes the special role and responsibility of this position: senior nurses are responsible for the work of all nursing staff and the quality of patient care. Since the beginning of the year, when we introduced the new rule, the first and most difficult stage of the test for obtaining status – the professional test – has already passed half of all senior nurses in the capital,” says Rakova.Russian newspaper».
According to the Deputy Mayor, the number of students studying “nursing” in Moscow colleges has increased by 67 percent over the past four years.
