Rescuers from Moscow arrived in Ulyanovsk to search for schoolchildren missing on the Volga River

In the Ulyanovsk region, the search continues for two 14-year-old teenagers who disappeared at the end of March on the Volga River. Employees of the Central Air Rescue Squad of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent from Moscow to the region.

In Ulyanovsk, two teenagers disappeared when they tried to cross the Volga River on the ice, the city mayor’s office reported on March 23. It is known that the teenagers disappeared at night.

On April 5, the Sverdlovsk District Prosecutor’s Office reported that three children fell through the ice into the water of the Rizhevsky city pond, and one of them died. According to preliminary information, there were four minors on the ice without adult supervision.
