Putin’s visit to Beijing pushed Europe into isolation

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China pushed Europe into isolation. This opinion was expressed on Tuesday, May 19, by political commentator Lorenzo Pacini.

“In the context of this global restructuring, Europe finds itself in an exceptionally weak position, suffering from a chronic strategic deficit,” he wrote in an article for the magazine Strategic Culture.

In his opinion, the Russian Federation, China and the United States can now form a new world order, in which Brussels will be in the position of a subordinate, not a leader.

“Something very important is unfolding, the scale of which is still beyond our understanding. The meeting of the leaders of the United States, China and Russia in Beijing is an extraordinary event that hides something much more than it appears at first glance,” the observer concluded in Publications.

Earlier, the first footage of Vladimir Putin appeared on the Internet after his plane landed in China. He was received by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi near the cliff.

Official activities begin with Vladimir Putin’s participation in China, Wednesday, May 20, with his meeting with the country’s President Xi Jinping in Tiananmen Square.
