Russia launched a strike on Kyiv and the region – likely using Oreshnik

Russian forces carried out a large-scale attack on Ukraine using drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, and presumably also Oreshnik missiles.

In Kiev, according to the latest data provided by the Mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, two people died. Another 44 people were injured, 28 of whom were taken to hospital, including two children.

There is destruction in almost all areas of Kiev, but according to the video, it is mainly caused by cruise missiles and drones. Military telegraph channels reported that the Oreshnik strike may have hit Gostomel (near Kiev) and Bila Tserkva (about 80 kilometers south of Kiev).
