Artem Dzyuba, who is recognized as the best scorer in the country’s history, will leave FC Togliatti at the end of the season. The club’s founder, Pavel Morozov, said that the club intends to continue to grow and develop, and to rely on new names, including students who “were highly trusted last season.”
On April 18, Artem Dzyuba became Akron’s top scorer – he scored a club record in the away match of the 25th round of the Russian Premier League against Rubin Kazan. In the 62nd minute of the match, the athlete scored his 18th goal for Akron, beating the previous record holder, Andres Ponce. At club level, Dzyuba repeatedly won the Russian Championship and the Super Cup with Zenit Saint Petersburg, and also twice won the National Cup.
