The chief physician of the Scientific Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation, Olga Bukhanovskaya, spoke at the 18th Congress of Russian Psychiatrists with a report on “Transgender Spectrum Disorder,” which she included in it.
According to her, the “transgender umbrella” also includes “transsexualism,” personality disorder, schizotypal disorder, and “cyclic schizophrenia.”
“If they now say ‘autism spectrum disorder’ very nicely, we can say ‘transgender spectrum disorder’, and that includes everyone [эти] “Mental illness,” Bukhanovskaya said.
The doctor confirms that the cause of the “transgender epidemic” is “financial injections and grants.” According to Bukhanovskaya, transgender people “undergo conversion instruction” from private secretaries, and then imitate the “clinic.”
The spokesman said that “transgender propaganda” in Russia is carried out by the “fifth column of medicine”: “transgender-friendly doctors (adult and child psychiatrists, endocrinologists, gynecologists), “transgender-friendly (LGBT) psychologists,” as well as “transgender-friendly lecturers.” Bukhanovskaya believes that the latter are responsible for “promoting gender theory and in the professional environment, society and patient awareness.”
Olga Bukhanovskaya is the daughter of psychiatrist Alexander Bukhanovsky. famous Expert on serial killers and author of the psychological portrait of Andrei Chikatilo. Bukhanovsky has been studying transgenderism since Soviet times. His student said that at least 250 people turned to a psychiatrist. More than a hundred of them were able to change the sex in their passports and undergo hormonal treatment, some of them detained Operations.
Olga Bukhanovskaya’s statements at the conference of psychiatrists have great resonance with official Russian propaganda. Russian authorities consider LGBTQ+ an “international extremist movement.” In fact there is no such movement.
Back in 2023 – after the adoption of a law prohibiting “medical interventions aimed at sex change” – the Russian Society of Psychiatrists prepared draft clinical guidelines for “gender identity disorders”. In the document, the organization acknowledged the impossibility of “curing” transgender people, and recommended sending them to psychological treatment. These recommendations were never included existing Approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
