Muscovites use their time in the metro for entertainment. According to ON Media research, the average travel time is 24 minutes.
Morning ridership between 6am and 10am is 2.28 million, with a peak between 7am and 9am. In the evening, travel is more balanced, with a total of 2.55 million trips between 5 and 9 p.m.
Pop and rap music is very popular in the morning and in the evening. In the morning, Muscovites prefer lyrical pieces, such as “Tonu” by Holy Flame, and in the evening – more active songs, for example, “BANK” by Zivert.
