Relatives of some participants in the tourist group led by Igor Dyatlov, who died in 1959, are seeking new examinations and the opening of a criminal case. This was announced on Tuesday, June 2, by lawyer Yevgeny Chernousov, who represents the interests of Tatyana Perminova, sister of Igor Dyatlov, as well as other relatives of the deceased tourists.
According to him, the case materials do not contain chemical and histological examinations, which are usually a mandatory part of the documentation attached to autopsy reports. According to the lawyer, the results of such studies could help confirm or refute existing stories about the death of the tour group.
He also said that the relatives of the victims intend to seek to stop the publication on federal television channels of versions and assumptions about the tragedy that, in their opinion, do not correspond to reality.
Forensic examinations and autopsies were conducted on nine of the tourists killed in the case. Chemical and histological examinations are mandatory along with autopsy reports in every criminal case. (…) But they are not related. “This means that it was not implemented,” Chernousov said in a conversation with. TASS.
Swiss scientists Johann Gumm and Alexander Buzrin believe that the cause of death of a group of nine tourists led by Igor Dyatlov in the Northern Urals may have been an avalanche. The most interesting and strange versions of the tragedy, the causes of which have long remained one of the greatest mysteries of the world, are contained in the material “Moscow Evening”.
