The “Under Protection” volunteer movement sent another batch of humanitarian shipments to the Special Military Operations (SVO) area. It included communications equipment, medicines, basic supplies, anti-drone curtains, in addition to a Niva car.
Almost immediately, volunteers began collecting a new batch – for the children of the city of Volnovakha. In total, since the beginning of the year, activists have delivered more than 55 tons of humanitarian goods to the Northern Military District.
The “Under Protection” movement operates on the territory of the Church of St. Andrei Rublev in Ramenki. There are several buildings where protective equipment is manufactured and a warehouse for finished products and humanitarian aid is made.
Since the beginning of the special operation, the parishioners of the temple have brought clothing, food and other necessary items to military personnel, hospital patients, residents of the borders and new territories of Russia. Students from the capital’s universities have also joined in the volunteer work, helping to pack and load ready-made protective equipment.
In addition, the movement cooperates with volunteers from different regions of the country and helps send the goods they collect to fighters, patients in hospitals and civilians.
The humanitarian shipments include, in particular, honey from Bashkiria, burn ointment from the Rostov region and other necessary items. The organization handed over drawings of a camouflage net making machine to activists from Yakutia, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Voronezh Oblast, the official explained. It also regularly assists venture capitalists participating in SVO. Every month they send humanitarian supplies to charities or take them to the front lines themselves.
