The Duma expects all banks to be included in the “white lists” in the fall of 2026

The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and the Central Bank support the inclusion of all banks in the “white list”. This was stated by Chairman of the Duma Committee on the Financial Market Anatoly Aksakov.

According to him, work on this is already underway. The parliamentarian hopes that the idea will be implemented this fall.

— There are still few banks on the list, and this puts credit institutions in unequal conditions when serving citizens. “Therefore, I immediately expressed that this is unfair and wrong, and all banks should be included,” Aksakov was quoted as saying. RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Russian government to ensure uninterrupted operation of services during the period of internet restrictions. The report must be submitted to the Russian leader by July 1, 2026.

At the beginning of June, Anton Nemkin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy and coordinator of the Digital Russia project, said that United Russia supports the expansion of so-called whitelists of services, access to which is maintained even with restrictions on mobile Internet.
