Two passenger trains collided in the United Kingdom. One driver was killed and 89 people were injured

The BBC reported that two passenger trains collided in the United Kingdom.

The accident occurred on the evening of June 19, south of the town of Bedford, about 100 kilometers from London. One of the trains collided with the rear of another train, causing at least one car to derail.

As a result, the driver of one of the two trains died. Another 89 people were injured, 11 of whom were described as very seriously, and 22 as seriously.

The causes of the accident are still unclear.
