Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Saturday, June 20 conducted the technical launch of the first section of the Rublevo-Arkhangelsk metro line – from Delovoye Tsenter station to General Karbyshev Boulevard station. It is scheduled to open in September.
The mayor of the capital noted that the city’s specialists continue to actively build megacities.
— Today we are launching the first part of the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line, the technical launch. And in September passengers will already fly here. The head of the city noted that about half a million Muscovites will gain access to additional transport to the metro.
He added that in parallel, construction is underway on the second and third stages of the Rublevo-Arkhangelsk metro line, which will connect MIBC Moscow and SberCity in the new Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye district – and will be launched in 2027, the city’s news agency reported.Moscow».
On June 14, Sergei Sobyanin announced that the Kuryanovo station of the new Biryulevskaya metro line will be decorated in an expressive industrial style. According to the mayor of Moscow, the image of the station is inspired by the history of the Pechatniki industrial area in which it will be located.
