Markets Avito, Ozon and Wildberry, at the request of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), have banned the sale of fuel on their platforms. This was stated in a message from the service reported by RIA Novosti.
According to FAS, Avito concealed advertisements about fuel trade. The sale of motor fuel on Ozon and Wildberry is prohibited, and attempts to create labels for such goods in the moderation phase before they appear on the site are prohibited.
The FAS explained such measures by “preventing the speculative resale of fuel.”
The Avito press service had previously reported that the service would in the near future remove all advertisements for the sale of gasoline “to avoid speculation on commodities.” Red blood cells Notesthat by the time this was announced on Avito, there were more than 600 advertisements for the sale of gasoline from individuals.

The fuel crisis in Russia began at the end of May amid increasing attacks by Ukrainian armed forces drones on Russian oil refineries and oil depots.
