In Russia, liability has been tightened for the forgery and sale of medical certificates. Now violators can face imprisonment for up to four years and a fine of up to one million rubles. Lawyer Alexei Gorelov warned about this.
“This also applies to people who want to obtain medical certificates, including driving a car. The person honestly believes that he is completely healthy, fully capable of driving a car, and therefore tries to buy the certificate. Now there is a specific ban on these procedures, because the fines are very high,” the specialist confirmed.
According to the lawyer, the violations will primarily include documents confirming the absence of diseases that pose a danger to others.
