Mobile phone operators have begun sending warnings to Muscovites about possible internet outages in the city.
“There may be difficulties with the Internet in your area due to security measures. At the same time, regular calls, SMS and some important services continue to work,” said the Megaphone message, published by the Telegram channel “Beware, Moscow.”
It’s not entirely clear why the internet shut down.
Since the evening of June 24, during its approach to Moscow, as stated by the city’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin, five drones have been shot down.
