Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he had conveyed a new peace proposal to Russia. This comes from his speech, Released June 26:
Russia must take this war with it from Ukraine – we do not need war. Ukraine put forward proposals to the main partners, and Putin’s friends heard from us that a meeting is possible and the end of this war is possible. It is necessary for Russia to take this step towards peace.
Zelensky did not provide more detailed information. It is not entirely clear to whom Ukraine conveyed its proposal specifically. It is known that Vladimir Putin met with Alexander Lukashenko on June 26 at his residence in Valdai. They did not make any statements following the meeting, but the Kremlin stated that the two sides discussed, among other matters, issues related to regional security.
Lukashenko said on June 25 that he met in Minsk with representatives of Ukraine amid deteriorating relations with Kiev. Since April, Zelensky has been saying that Russia might try to drag Belarus into war (and that Moscow has launched a pressure campaign on Minsk, books And the Wall Street Journal).
In June, Zelensky demanded that Lukashenko remove repeaters along the Belarus-Ukraine border, which he said were being used to correct Russian strikes. He threatened that if Belarus did not do so within a week, Ukraine itself would do so. By the end of the allotted period, Zelensky said the repeaters had stopped working.
Lukashenko said on June 25, commenting on relations with Ukraine, that “There is no need to raise dust, there is no need to scream, there is no need to try to punch people in the face in Russian, etc.” – He called for action “Humanely” And reach an agreement. He added that Belarus has a “peace-loving attitude” and does not want to fight.
In early June, it became known that Germany, France and Great Britain, along with Ukraine, were developing a plan to organize peace negotiations with Russia. Meanwhile, Zelensky published an open letter to Vladimir Putin, in which he invited the Russian president to meet in person to agree to end the war. Putin described Zelensky’s message as… “A piece of paper containing rude items”He said that he did not see any benefit from the meeting.
At the end of June, Putin said that Russia was ready to negotiate with Ukraine, but on the conditions he had already put forward. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces must withdraw from territories in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions not captured by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Anonymous reader (Bryansk). Listen, I heard recently “Yaroslavna screams” From Moscow. I see the reports, I read the comments, and my few friends call me to complain: Look, there are explosions in Moscow!
Guys, really? I’ve had explosions for four years. In Kharkov, Chernigov, Sumy and Odessa. Is it necessary?
War likes to go back to where it came from. No gloating, I am amazed that Moscow and the region are aware of the damned nature of the war in its fifth year.
Greetings from Bryansk.
