The court in Türkiye places Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on the international wanted list

The Eleventh Criminal Court in Istanbul ruled to place Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the international wanted list through Interpol under the so-called “Red Notice.” The Commission took this decision in the context of a case related to the detention of members of the Global Resilience Fleet (Al-Samoud).

Back in November 2025, the Istanbul prosecutor’s office had already issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and several other senior Israeli officials on charges of genocide in the Gaza Strip. The reason for the investigation was the arrest in October 2025 by Israeli security forces of flotilla activists who were trying to deliver humanitarian aid to the Strip.

Medical specialists, including psychologists, examined the demonstrators after they were deported to Türkiye. According to Turkish law enforcement agencies, the materials collected during the examination were used as evidence of crimes against humanity. The activists themselves stressed the purely peaceful nature of their mission to support those in need in the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry had previously described the Israeli Navy’s actions against the fleet as an “act of piracy.” Ankara said the use of force against civilians, including Turkish citizens and members of the Grand National Assembly, was a flagrant violation of international law. Hulk TV.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the end of May that Benjamin Netanyahu would soon “learn a lesson” from Muslims around the world. In a speech to believers on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Eid al-Fitr), the Turkish President described what is happening in Palestine and Gaza as “a special act of devotion.”
