A large-scale fire at a factory in China has killed more than 30 people

A large-scale fire at a factory in the Chinese city of Anyang, Henan province, killed at least 36 people and injured two more.

The agency announced this on Tuesday evening. ReutersUkrinform reports.

Firework broke out at Kaixinda Trading Co Ltd’s factory in Wenfeng District, in the so-called “high-tech zone” in Anyang city,” the agency said.

According to preliminary data, the fire broke out on Monday afternoon. 63 fire trucks immediately arrived on the scene. Firefighters extinguished the fire around 8 p.m. local time. At 23:00 the fire was completely extinguished.

On Tuesday morning local time, 36 people were officially reported dead as a result of the disaster. Two people were injured, two more are missing.

Local authorities said the public security agency had identified the perpetrators suspected of the crime.

Kaixinda is reportedly considered a small privately held company.
