There were 114 passengers and 11 crew members on board. At least 48 of them survived. The fate of the rest remains unknown. Search and rescue efforts continue.
The accident occurred in the municipality of Puerto Leguisamo in the Putumayo region of southern Colombia. The plane crashed shortly after take-off, two kilometers from the airport. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
The Colombian naval base is located in Puerto Leguisamo, thanks to which military units were able to quickly reach the scene of the accident and provide assistance to the victims. Reports Radio Karakol.
