A zero-day vulnerability has been discovered in Telegram – Meduza

Member of the Zero Day Initiative (), security researcher Michael Deplante Discovered a zero-day vulnerability in Telegram messenger – a previously unknown security vulnerability.

He discovered it on March 26, and subsequently passed the information on to the Prophet’s representatives. This follows from Data ZDI, attention that paid 3side project.

The severity of the vulnerability was rated at 9.8 points on a 10-point scale, placing it in the highest risk category, Notes “Duroff Code.” Details about it will become known no later than July 24.

The 3side authors believe that using the vulnerability, “most likely, you can hack any Telegram account.”

Telegram did not comment on the incident.
