About 300 war crimes have already been registered in the liberated regions of the Kharkiv . region

In the liberated areas of the Kharkov region, 292 war crimes committed by Russians have been recorded, while at the same time identifying persons who may have been involved in cooperation with the enemy.

That said Deputy Interior Minister Yevgeny Yenin on the air of the telethon, reports a correspondent from Ukrinform.

“We work closely with the population in the liberated areas. People like to give us testimonies about how someone behaved, gave commands, performed torture. The police are directly involved in the registration of war crimes and crimes against humanity. today have registered 292 war crimes on the territory of the Kharkiv region. And the vast majority of them are about violations of the laws and customs of war,” Yenin said.

He also noted that filtration points are being built in the liberated settlements to identify sabotage and reconnaissance groups and individuals involved in enemy co-operation and collaborative activities.

“Everyone who has committed crimes will be held accountable sooner or later. We get certificates from people who have worked with the enemy. We get access to the documents of the so-called customs and tax authorities of the occupying power, where all those who have cooperated, surname after surname. with the enemy, fulfilled the organizational and administrative functions of the occupation administration,” added the deputy minister.

He emphasized that criminal prosecution of employees will take place using both national and international judicial jurisdictions.

As Ukrinform reported, an additional 52 bodies of the dead were exhumed near Izyum in the past 24 hours, many of them with signs of violent death: broken ribs, bruised heads and the like.
