Acharya Movie Review & Ratings

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan are teaming up for the first time through the film Acharya directed by Koratala Siva. The film is set to release on April 29. Here is Acharya’s full review:

Story: Basava (Sonu Sood) controls the temple town of Dharmasthali, turning his gang into a place of crime and dishonesty. The people of Padakattam, who are known for their ancient Dharma and Ayurvedic knowledge, have also been affected by the atrocities of Basava. Acharya (Chiranjeevi) is helping Dharmasthali and boat people. Acharya’s relationship with Sidda (Ram Charan) is revealed in a flashback, which has an illegal mining mafia background. The rest of the story shows how the two righteous people fight against injustice and save the people of Dharmasthali and Patakattam.

Analysis: 15 minutes – How long did it take to publish the dated story? But the hope of the grand hero introductions and high moments keeps the audience waiting in their seats. Unfortunately, this does not happen. The mega star’s smooth introduction and the following slow scenes did not meet any expectations. An OK item song with Regina & Chiranjeevi and the first half is over. A good entry in the break scene gives hope that Ram Charan will elevate the film as Siddha in the second half. Did not happen.

The sets, characters, dialogues are unhealthy. The word sailing is pronounced every minute in every scene. Chiranjeevi has no stage to act according to his talent. Ram Saran’s character is not a cameo or a 30 minute kick – throughout the second half.

The Nilambari song between Charan and Pooja Hegde is okay, the Pale Pale Banjara song is fine with the dance of megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. Visual effects work poorly, product values are not large.

Cortala Siva and his crew failed miserably and were able to put up at least a couple of highlight scenes – something that fans could find comfort in. How did such a versatile actor duo, no less than 2 mega stars, come to be like this? A simple outdated storyline and Cortala’s uninteresting movement make it difficult to get into the film.

Negatives: Mega star Chiranjeevi was not impressed due to his weak character in the role of Acharya.
