This is reported by the Russian propaganda media.

As noted, the leaders of the “public chambers” of the pseudo-republics turned to the leaders of the “DPR” and “LPR” Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik with the initiative to immediately hold referendums on the recognition of them as nationals of the Russian Federation.

Immediately after, Pushilin posted on his Telegram channel a video of a telephone conversation with Pasechnik, in which he proposed to synchronize the efforts of the “DPR” and “LPR” in preparation for pseudo-referendums.

“I think we should prepare some moments together, some actions should be synchronized. A proposal to unite the efforts of the governments of the heads of the republics, the devices of the parliaments, so that they develop those steps, the algorithm of actions which can begin the issue of referendum preparations,” said Pushilin.

The initiative to hold “referendums” on joining the “L/DPR” to Russia was immediately supported by the “leaders” of occupied Crimea and Sevastopol.

The so-called “State Councilor of Crimea” Vladimir Konstantinov announced his willingness to share staff or organize the printing of ballots for pseudo-referendums in occupied Donbas. “We are ready to provide all the necessary help: methodological, organizational, we will share our staff, if anything. We have a wealth of experience in holding a referendum. More than Scotland and Catalonia combined. Therefore, we are ready to take any action required of us,” Konstantinov told TASS news agency.

In turn, the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that the referendums in the “L/DPR” should be held as soon as possible. “I support this decision and believe that the sooner this happens, the better. People have been waiting for this for more than eight years,” Razvozhaev wrote in his Telegram channel.

On February 24, 2022, at 4 a.m., Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbas. Russia launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and launched a direct large-scale invasion in four directions. The armed forces of Ukraine reject the enemy, the plan of the blitzkrieg – to take Kiev in two or three days – failed, the Russian army withdrew from the capital. The Russian military is committing thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity across Ukraine.
