Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ second defamation trial is underway in Connecticut as he confronts the families of victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which he claimed was a hoax in broadcasts to its millions of viewers.

Last week, the court heard three days of testimony from Brittany Paz, an appointed representative of Infowars, Jones’ media company, about its operations — although much of her testimony was evasive. The jury saw how Jones’ ratings grew exponentially after the tragedy and the company’s revenues increased dramatically.

Several videos were shown of Jones’ blatant claims about the shooting, including when he mocked the victims’ parents as “crisis actors” and displayed completely false information about the day’s events.

Last month, he was ordered to pay nearly $50 million to the parents of one of the children killed by a Texas jury after a similar lawsuit. Now, jurors will decide how much he should pay the relatives of eight victims and the FBI agent who attended the scene of the 2012 massacre.

Brittany Paz, the attorney appointed to represent Infowars/Free Speech Systems, is back at the bank, starting her fourth day of interrogation.

The questioning starts over the issue of a company org chart and several emails about the company’s use of Google Analytics.

Judge Bellis hears an argument from the plaintiffs’ attorney, Alinor Sterling, asking to impose a cap on questioning the “alleged political motives” of her clients – that this was part of a political vendetta against Jones.

“The arguments about the plaintiffs’ alleged political biases are clickbait for Infowars,” says Sterling, adding that the process is being used to harass plaintiffs.

Judge Bellis will let Jones’ attorney, Norm Pattis, cross-examine witnesses on the subject of “exaggerating” his injury for political gain or as part of an anti-gun agenda.

Jones addresses the press again before leaving

Alex Jones addresses the press again, saying, “I don’t want to be Sandy Hook’s man. It was a small part of what we said and did.”

He admits he “followed 4chan”, other things that “turned out to be wrong”, but cites the Jussie Smollett case and Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction as other things he thought were false.

Jones says the trial is “a whole bigger plan” to end the free press and that lawyers will use that model against other people.

Returning to the events at Sandy Hook in 2012, he says “nobody knows” the name of marksman Adam Lanza, adding, “I’m not Adam Lanza. I did not kill the children.”

“They really want to take me out because I’ve been exposing the Great Reset,” says Jones.

Asked if this is a kangaroo court, he replies: “Friend, it’s all kangaroos and railroads, you’re right.”
