Russia’s largest exhibition of ancient technology, the Oldtimer Fair, was held in Saint Petersburg. It includes about 300 cars and motorcycles that have been preserved or restored by restorers. The Petersburg Diary reported this on Saturday, April 11.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition is located on an area estimated at approximately 13 thousand square meters. Each exhibition has its own story, and the event itself has been running for about 25 years.
It is also mentioned that the flea market has traditionally become part of the fair. There visitors can find rare objects, antiques and reports edition.
Earlier, on April 4, the historic tram parade began in Moscow. The column will pass from Kursky station to Sergius Radonezh Street, where a large exhibition of ancient transport will be held. 16 historical vehicles from different generations will participate in the show, and a wide-ranging festive program has been prepared for guests. The area will feature 1930s-style interactive areas and re-enactments of the past, as well as an exhibition of historical costumes for tram complex employees.
