In the Czech Republic on Friday, March 20, a fire broke out at an establishment linked to the Israeli defense company Elbit Systems. A group calling itself the “Earthquake Faction” claimed responsibility for the arson. Its representatives said the factory is essential to the European operations of one of Israel’s largest arms manufacturers. This was reported by Al Jazeera Portal.
The accident, which occurred in the early morning, destroyed several buildings inside the facility, which operates as a joint venture with a Czech company. Local police have launched an investigation and are examining terrorist involvement.
