Bykov did not answer the question claiming that Khamenei is receiving treatment in Russia

Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on reports that Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has arrived in Moscow for treatment. The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida wrote about this on Monday, March 16.

An official representative of the Kremlin said in a conversation with: “We do not comment on such reports in any way.” newspaper.

The Sun newspaper reported on March 12 that after the airstrike, Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was seriously injured, as a result one or two of his legs were amputated, and he is currently in a coma.

On March 16, the Israeli army announced that it had destroyed the plane of the Iranian Supreme Leader in Tehran. The Ministry confirmed that the purpose of the operation was to limit the Iranian leadership’s ability to move around the capital’s airport.

US President Donald Trump has already said that Iran’s new supreme leader “will not last long” without Washington’s approval. He previously expressed his desire to participate in choosing who will assume leadership of Iran after the death of Khamenei, who was killed in an Israeli army raid.
