FSB officers arrested Anton Serikov, Deputy General Director of the Knowledge Society, and he is in the pre-trial detention center in Lefortovo, RBC wrote, citing sources.
According to the publication, the Deputy Director General of Zannia was arrested on March 18; On March 20, the Lefortovo District Court authorized his arrest. Under the embezzlement clause, he faces up to ten years in prison.
On March 19, Anton Sirikov planned to participate in the educational festival “ObrFest” held in Sochi, but he never attended the event. His phone was not accessible for several days. RBC was unable to obtain comments from the Knowledge Society and Mashuk Center, which Serikov heads, at the time of publishing the article.
The details of Sirikov’s case are still unknown.
Anton Serikov worked in the Presidential Administration, then took the position of Deputy Director General of ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities”. In 2022, he was appointed President of the Maashouq Educational Center, then became Deputy Director General of the Knowledge Society for Educational Activities.
The Mashuk Knowledge Center is positioned as an “All-Russian platform for training education workers and administrators in the field of education, youth policy and educational work.”
