Telegram messenger founder Pavel Durov once again criticized the Meta-owned WhatsApp. Durov wrote on his Telegram channel:
Vostap “crypto” is likely the biggest scam in history, misleading billions of users.
Meta’s messenger, according to Durov, “reads the user’s messages and shares them with third parties.” Telegram, according to its founder, “has never done this and will not do so in the future.”
Durov accompanied his post with a screenshot of a post about a lawsuit against Meta and accusing the company of storing and accessing personal messages.
