Earthquake in Turkey injures 22 people

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale that struck tonight in northern Turkey’s Düzce province left 22 people injured.

“The current situation related to the magnitude 5.9 earthquake, which occurred in Goljaka village in Duzce province on 04.08: 22 injured in Duzce, one of whom is in serious condition due to a jump from a height,” he said.

As mentioned in a comment CNN TurkInterior Minister Suleyman Soylu, there were no reports of deaths from the earthquake.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of November 22-23, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9-6.0 occurred in Duzce province, about 200 km from Istanbul.
