Ukrainian tennis player Ekaterina Beindl begins her appearance at the WTA 125 Montevideo Open in Uruguay’s capital on Tuesday with a prize pool of $115,000.
The Ukrainian (No. 113 WTA) got the sixth seed and will meet the American Emma Navarro (154) in the first round, reports Ukrinform.
Both tennis players play the third tournament of the WTA 125 South American series.
Previously, Ekaterina reached the final of the competition in Chile and lost in the second round of the tournament in Argentina, while Navarro became a quarterfinalist in Chile and lost in the second round in Argentina.
