This was stated by the head of the Kharkov Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov.

“Today the exhumation of the bodies in the mass grave in Izyum is completed. In total, 436 bodies were exhumed. Most of them show signs of violent death and 30 show signs of torture. There are bodies with ropes around their necks, with their hands tied, with broken limbs and lights. “Several men have had their genitals amputated. All this is evidence of the terrible torture to which the invaders subjected the inhabitants of Izyum. Most of the bodies are civilians, 21 are military,” he said.

“Unfortunately, such a mass grave is not the only thing in Izyum. At least 3 more such places have been found in this area, there are graves in other liberated cities in the Kharkiv region. Inspections and demining are currently being carried out,” Sinegubov said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that the world must act to prevent a repeat of what happened in Bucha, Mariupol and Izyum. According to Zelensky, the terror of the Russians cannot be stopped without the recognition of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism.

On February 24, 2022, at 4 a.m., Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbas. Russia launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and launched a direct large-scale invasion in four directions. The armed forces of Ukraine reject the enemy, the plan of the blitzkrieg – to take Kiev in two or three days – failed, the Russian army withdrew from the capital. The Russian military is committing thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity across Ukraine.
