In the Moscow region, frost may rise to minus 6 degrees next night. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation warned about this.
“The air temperature in Moscow at night will be from -2 to -4 degrees, and in the region – from -1 to -6 degrees,” weather forecasters explained.
In the center of the capital, thermometers can show from minus 1 to plus 1 degree. Meanwhile, icy conditions are possible on the roads.
Forecasters are also predicting that on the afternoon of March 15, it’s expected to be true spring weather in the D.C. area. The air temperature in Moscow should rise to 10-12 degrees, and in the Moscow region – to 8-13 degrees above zero. The winds were expected to be southerly and southeasterly at a speed of 1-6 meters per second TASS.
On March 10, meteorological spring began in the capital region. The average daily air temperature rose significantly, and snowfall was replaced by sunny weather. Vechernaya Moskva found out why spring has suddenly arrived in the capital region.
Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a senior specialist at the Mitunovosti news agency, said that warm weather in Moscow will continue until the end of March. She explained that until next March 20, the daytime temperature in the capital region will exceed 10 degrees Celsius, and at night it will be around zero degrees.
