HBO has announced work on a Harry Potter series in 2023. The first season is scheduled to premiere on Christmas Day 2026 on the streaming platform HBO Max.
Dominic McLaughlin will play the role of Harry Potter in the series, and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger will play Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton. More than 30 thousand children participated in choosing the main roles in the series.
